Ensure boiler safety before heating operation.

       Boiler users must thoroughly carry out maintenance and various preparatory work before operating boilers for heating, and resolutely avoid using boilers beyond their service life. A comprehensive inspection of the boilers should be conducted, ensuring that the registration of special equipment and the allocation of operational personnel are completed as required. Reasonably schedule inspection times to ensure both internal and external inspections of the boilers are valid. If problems or abnormalities are found during inspections, emergency measures must be taken promptly to prevent accidents. The equipment can only be put into use after a comprehensive inspection and the elimination of potential hazards, and operation with faulty equipment must be strictly prohibited. Additionally, safety accessories such as safety valves, water level gauges, pressure gauges, and temperature measurement devices should be inspected and properly documented.

       Boiler users must prevent pressurized boilers from being used beyond their pressure limits and ensure that atmospheric boilers are not used under pressure. Daily inspections should be strengthened, and effective measures must be taken decisively upon detecting any abnormalities to ensure safety. Operating boilers without water, under overpressure, or overload conditions is strictly prohibited. Particularly, adding water to a boiler when it is severely dehydrated is forbidden. When a boiler is out of use, the water inside should be drained to prevent ice blockages in the boiler pipes. When opening steam valves, the warm-up time for the pipes should be extended, and the valves should only be fully opened after thorough warming. A drain pipe should be installed at an appropriate location on the safety valve discharge pipe to ensure accumulated water is discharged. In cold weather, manual discharge operations of safety valves should be performed.

       Boiler users must pay special attention to the safety of gas boilers, particularly issues such as improper ignition, flame extinction, equipment defects, gas leaks, and operational errors. Before startup, in addition to checking the boiler's safety, it is essential to verify whether the gas pressure is normal, if there are any leaks in the pipeline valves, if the valve switches are properly positioned, and if the gas alarm system and its interlock protection devices are functioning normally and reliably. Strictly follow the operating procedures for starting and stopping gas boilers. Purge the furnace and flue before ignition to ensure the burner and control devices are safe and reliable. During operation, regularly monitor whether the gas flow and pressure remain stable.

        Boiler users must, in accordance with the law, appoint boiler safety directors and safety officers, clearly define their responsibilities, strengthen personnel training and safety risk management, and implement the "daily control, weekly inspection, monthly scheduling" work system for heating boilers. Comprehensive safety self-inspections and self-corrections should be carried out. For any issues identified, establish records and develop effective corrective measures, specifying deadlines and responsible persons to ensure full implementation and timely resolution. If special equipment such as boilers and pressure vessels are found to be in an unsafe state, key positions or frontline operators are missing, or safety production conditions are not met, usage must be immediately suspended.
